Make sure you select the right business type. If you change business type all data entered in the form will be erased

A bond is required for all new licence applications and the bond can be sent before or after you apply. The bond is to be made payable to the British Columbia Minister of Labour and may be paid in the form of a certified cheque, a bank draft, an irrevocable letter of credit provided directly from a financial institution, or other security in accordance with the Bonding Act, such as a surety bond provided from a financial institution or issuer. If your application for a licence is approved, the security bond will be held for 36 months after the expiry of your licence. If your application for a licence is not approved, the bond will be returned. An additional bond is not required for individuals renewing a licence.

For license renewals, applicants must ensure the security is in force for the length of the license sought. If your existing security does not automatically roll-over or renew, you must ensure you provide security with the effective dates matching the length of the license. You can renew a licence for a 1 year, 2 year or 3 year period
